Keefe Law Firm is very pleased to announce that its office manager, Katherine E. Dart has been named as Secretary of the New Jersey Association of Legal Administrators (NJALA).
The NJALA is a proud chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, the premier professional association connecting leaders and managers within the legal industry. In 2017, the NJALA celebrated its 50th Anniversary of serving the legal management community. Kathy has been a NJALA member since 2005.
A few short years ago Kathy won a scholarship to attend the Association of Legal Administrators national conference in Toronto. This inspired her to become more involved in the NJALA due to the education, support, and resources she found invaluable. “During this experience of professional growth, as helping hands were extended I have made lifelong lasting friendships,” said Kathy.
After serving two years on the NJALA Board as Trustee, on April 9, 2019 Kathy was sworn into her first officer position as Board Secretary. In addition to her duties as Secretary, Kathy serves as co-chair to the Education Workshop Committee and State Bar Liaison Committee, and assists in the annual Equipment and Office Services and Salary and Benefit member surveys.
Said John E. Keefe, Jr., managing partner and immediate past president of the New Jersey State Bar, “I am not surprised that Kathy has been appointed to the NJALA officer’s team. She exemplifies an unfailing work ethic, teamwork and solid management skills every day at Keefe Law Firm. I’m sure we will see her continue to rise professionally as her career evolves”.
