Keefe Law Firm is pleased to announce the addition of two new associate attorneys, Anthony J. Tagliaferro and Meagan M. McGurl, who joined the firm in early January 2026. Their arrival expands the firm’s capabilities in personal injury and complex civil litigation as part of its ongoing commitment to providing experienced, aggressive advocacy for clients throughout New Jersey and nationwide.
Anthony brings to the firm a strong federal litigation background and firsthand courtroom experience. A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and Drew University, Anthony previously practiced at the boutique litigation firm Marino, Tortorella & Boyle, P.C., where he worked on high-profile civil and criminal matters across multiple jurisdictions. Following his time in private practice, Anthony served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Madeline Cox Arleo, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey, gaining valuable insight into federal trial and motion practice. At Keefe Law Firm, he will continue his advocacy on behalf of individuals harmed by negligence, and in complex litigation matters.
Meagan brings to Keefe Law Firm extensive courtroom and advocacy experience developed through her work as a public defender in both Florida and New Jersey. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College. In her prior roles with the Office of the Public Defender, Meagan secured numerous not guilty verdicts and favorable plea outcomes for her clients, demonstrating her strengths in communication, courtroom advocacy, and client-centered representation. At Keefe Law Firm, she will focus her practice on personal injury litigation, bringing a hands-on approach and deep commitment to client communication.
