Anthony J. Tagliaferro is an Associate Attorney at Keefe Law Firm, where he concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation, including personal injury and environmental matters. He brings to the firm a strong background in federal litigation, white-collar defense, and complex civil proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Anthony earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2023, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and was a member of the Peter W. Rodino Society Executive Board. He received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Drew University in 2020, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Law, Justice & Society, and Philosophy. While completing his undergraduate studies, Anthony was a Presidential and Civic Scholar, a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honors Society, and a two-time captain of the University’s NCAA Division III baseball team.
Upon graduating from law school, Anthony joined Marino, Tortorella & Boyle, P.C. in Chatham, New Jersey, where he specialized in white-collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation. As an associate at the firm, he worked on high-profile criminal and civil litigations in New Jersey, New York, and other jurisdictions for global financial firms, regional businesses, and individuals. Prior to becoming an associate, Anthony served the firm for more than six years as a law clerk and paralegal working with and learning from his then future colleagues and gaining early exposure to complex litigation practice, all while continuing his studies at Drew and Seton Hall.
Anthony left the firm in 2025 to serve as law clerk to the Honorable Madeline Cox Arleo, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey. His clerkship provided him with meaningful insight into federal procedure, motion practice, and judicial analysis at the trial court level.
After completing his clerkship with Judge Arleo, Anthony chose to continue his legal career with the Keefe Law Firm. Drawn to the firm’s longstanding commitment to representing individuals and communities harmed by negligence and toxic exposure, he is dedicated to advocating on behalf of those whose voices might otherwise go unheard. As a first-generation attorney from a blue-collar, working-class family, Anthony understands the real-world impact that litigation can have on individuals and families. He approaches each matter with careful preparation, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility to the clients he serves. He is excited to bring a positive, can-do attitude to his practice.
When Anthony is not hard at work for his clients, he spends time with his big Italian family, watches his favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees, and gives back to his high school and college baseball teams of which he remains a proud alumnus. He and his wife are lifelong Central Jerseyans, and enjoy spending time at the Jersey Shore together.
